Menjangan Island

About Menjangan

Menjangan Island, part of West Bali National Park, is one of the furthest dive destinations from Bali’s south, but the journey is worth it. Known for its dramatic walls that plunge to 30–40 meters, Menjangan offers some of the clearest visibility in Bali—often up to 40 meters on a good day. The walls are covered in vibrant soft corals, gorgonians, and sponges, making every descent feel like drifting alongside a living tapestry.

The diving here is calm and relaxed, perfect for beginners while still captivating for seasoned divers. Turtles are often spotted cruising by, reef sharks occasionally patrol the blue, and macro critters hide in the nooks of the walls. Sites like Pos II and Eel Garden are especially popular, giving divers a mix of dramatic drop-offs, sandy slopes, and abundant marine life. Menjangan may be remote, but it rewards you with tranquility both above and below the water.
